Golden Age Passport

The Golden Age Passport is a lifetime admission and discount pass for citizens or permanent residents of the United States who are age 62 or older. The pass is valid at National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Corps of Engineers, Fish and Wildlife Service, Forest Service, and Tennessee Valley Authority sites with admission fees. The Golden Age Passport admits the pass owner and any accompanying passengers in a private vehicle* if a park has a per vehicle entrance fee. Where a per person entrance fee is charged, the Golden Age Passport admits the pass owner, spouse, and children. How to get one!

Passport America

We have found that Passport America is a great deal for the RVer.

According to Passport America America, members enjoy a 50% discount at more than 1300 campgrounds throughout the United States.

We are members and have saved more than enough to pay the small annual fees in just a short time. Passport America website.

Wireless Internet Service (Wi-Fi)
By Louis Crusenberry

Very soon every RV owner will have a laptop in his/her rig and will be looking for RV Parks that support the internet with a wireless connection.

Whether we want to believe it or not, the internet is here to stay and is becoming a way of communications with the RVer’s.

It has become a way of life in the business industry and when those folks are away from their office they use the internet and their laptop to carry on their business.

When traveling, I for one, refuse to stay at a park that does not have  wireless (Wi-Fi).

It's nice to be able to pull in a RV Park, level up your rig, hook her up to the park electrical service, pull out your laptop and bingo, you are on the web. It may cost you a few pennies, but you don't have to get out in the rain and carry your laptop to the office for a slow dial up connection, if available at all...most are not.

We encourage all RV Park and Campground Owners to install a  wireless system. We think it will make you money in the long run.

Here is one place where you can get information about installing wireless internet service at RV Parks and Campgrounds. They have a page where you can recommend your favorite park.
